तुमचा गणवेश किती चांगल्या प्रकारे परिधान केला जातो आणि त्याची देखभाल केली जाते, ही पहिली गोष्ट परेड अधिकाऱ्याच्या लक्षात येते आणि शेवटची गोष्ट ते विसरतात. हे थेट तुमचे साप्ताहिक मूल्यांकन, तुमचे शिबिराचे मूल्यांकन आणि प्रत्येक प्रमाणपत्र पातळीवरील व्यावहारिक परीक्षेतील गुण समाविष्ट करते. खराब फेरी आणि चांगली फेरी असलेला विद्यार्थी, प्रत्येक वेळी सरासरी फेरी आणि तीक्ष्ण फेरी असलेल्या विद्यार्थ्यांसमोर पराभूत होतो.

Army Wing

• Olive-green combat uniform: shirt and trousers.
• Belt — olive-green canvas with brass buckle.
• Boots — black DMS (Direct Moulded Sole) boots.
• Cap — olive-green peaked cap or beret depending on unit.
• Insignia — NCC shoulder titles, unit flash, certificate badges (A/B/C) for holders.

Naval Wing

• [ ] Boots / shoes — polished to a high mirror gloss. Laces black, even tension, neatly tied with knots tucked in.
• [ ] Uniform — pressed; visible creases on shirt sleeves, trouser front-and-back creases sharp.
• [ ] Shirt — tucked in; gig-line (button placket / belt buckle / fly) aligned vertically.
• [ ] Belt buckle — cleaned and polished; brass buffed.
• [ ] Insignia — correctly positioned, all stitching intact, no fraying threads.
• [ ] Cap — set straight, no tilt, NCC badge centred above the brow.
• [ ] Haircut — above the collar at the back, not over the ears, neatly tapered. Girls: hair tied back tight; long hair in a bun if required.
• [ ] Face — clean-shaven for boys (where required by unit); moustache trimmed if grown.
• [ ] Nails — clean, short, not bitten.
• [ ] Watch — plain, black or steel strap. No oversized or coloured watches at parade.

सामान्य चुका

व्यावहारिक परीक्षेच्या मूल्यांकनात पुनरावृत्ती होणाऱ्या या कपाती आहेतः

1. Unpolished boots / scuff marks — the single most common deduction. Polish the night before, buff again 15 minutes before parade.
2. Crumpled uniform — always press the day before, not the day of (you’ll be rushed).
3. Tarnished belt buckle — use brass polish; clean off residue before parade.
4. Loose threads on insignia — trim with scissors before parade.
5. Improper cap angle — should sit straight, ~3 finger-widths above the brow.
6. Hair too long or untidy — visible from a distance; major mark loss.
7. Wrong-coloured socks — should be plain black/dark and reach above the boot top.
8. Visible undershirt at neck — wear a colour-matched (white for white, OG for OG) round-neck undershirt; never a coloured T-shirt.
9. Mobile phone visible in pocket — leave it with bag/instructor before parade.
10. Chewing gum — don’t.

मिरवणुकींमधील देखभाल

प्रत्येक मिरवणुकीनंतरः

1. Hang the uniform on a sturdy hanger, not folded. Folds set creases in the wrong places.
2. Air it out in shade, never in direct sun (sun bleaches the green / blue).
3. Spot-clean stains immediately — once set, they’re harder to remove.
4. Boots: wipe down with damp cloth, dry fully, polish thoroughly.
5. Belt: unbuckle, store flat. Don’t leave it threaded through the trousers.

महिन्यातून एकदाः

• क्रीजवर लक्ष देत संपूर्ण गणवेश दाबा.
• बूटांना पेस्ट पॉलिशने, नंतर ब्रशने, नंतर कापडाने पुन्हा पॉलिश करा.

हंगामातून एकदाः

गणवेश वापरण्याबाबतची नोंद

अधिकृत परेड, कॅम्प किंवा NCC इव्हेंटच्या बाहेर NCC गणवेश घालण्यास परवानगी नाही. तुमच्या ANO अधिकृततेशिवाय ते छायाचित्रण, सोशल मीडिया पोस्ट किंवा शाळेतील असंबंधित कार्यक्रमांसाठी घालू नका. गैरवापरामुळे शिस्तभंगाची कारवाई होऊ शकते आणि गंभीर प्रकरणांमध्ये युनिटमधून काढून टाकले जाऊ शकते.

गणवेश हा एक विशेषाधिकार आहे, वेशभूषा नाही. त्याला एकासारखी वागणूक द्या आणि तुम्ही जिथे जिथे ते घालता तिथे ते वजन वाहून घेऊन जाते.
